JRC Multi-Hazard App

The Global Disaster Preparedness Center (GDPC), in collaboration with the Global First Aid Reference Center, has created a platform to facilitate the
adaptation and localization of the First Aid app originally developed by the BritishRed Cross and adapted by the American Red Cross.

A pilot activity was launched in May, 2013 with the following invitees:

Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Philippines, Sweden, Thailand andUkraine

How to Get Involved

This program is now scaling up with expressions of interest from over 50 national societies. Starting in January, the GDPC will be working with a growing
list of national societies to begin work on their own versions of the high quality First Aid app which is available for both iOS and Android. The second phase of the program will extend access for up to 100 national societies.
